The Lightning went on the road to Sunrise and lost by a score of 2-1. The tale of the tape is a power play that went 0-7. Yeesh. In a 1 goal game, that’s so dang brutal.

And it’s not like they didn’t have chances, anyway. Hedman hit the post with the extra attacker in the dying seconds. Cirelli hit the crossbar on a power play.

They were literally inches away. But you’ve got to score on the power, especially cause one of them was a double minor!

The good news: it’s very fixable.

The bad news: Man, the Panthers are really good. And that was without Tkachuk. They’re going to use his cap size to make a strong move at the deadline. They want to repeat.
